Pre-K Counts

Owatin Creek is proud to be a site for Berks County's Pre-K Counts program, which is led by the Berks County Intermediate Unit and open to children ages 3-4 in the Exeter Township School District who qualify for this preschool program.

Pre-K Counts strives to:

  • Prepare and teach preschool children the school readiness skills needed to be ready for school success.
  • Foster preschool students' intellectual, social and emotional growth.
  • Provide opportunities for children and families in our program that will help prepare them for future school and life successes.
  • Increase students' chances of doing well in school, attending college or trade school and having a successful career.

Eligible students are between the ages of 3 and 4 by August 31st of the fall they enter the program. Pre-K Counts is free to eligible families who earn up to 300% of the federal poverty level.
